Kayla McHenry's sweet sixteen sucks! Her dad left, her grades dropped, and her BFF is dating the boy Kayla's secretly loved for years. Blowing out her candles, Kayla thinks: I wish my birthday wishes actually came true. Because they never freakin' do. Kayla wakes the next day to a life-sized, bright pink My Little Pony outside her window. Then a year's supply of gumballs arrives. A boy named Ken with a disturbing resemblance to the doll of the same name stalks her. As the ghosts of Kayla's wishes-past appear, they take her on a wild ride . . . but they MUST STOP. Because when she was fifteen? She wished Ben Mackenzie would kiss her. And Ben is her best friend's boyfriend.

My Review: This book was by my favorite author Mandy Hubbard and she did't let me down. This book is one of my new favorites because it's funny, breathtaking, romantic, girly, and full of friendship. Title: Hex Hall
Author: Rachel Hawkins
Series: 1st Book
Release Date: March 2nd 2010
Published By: Hyperion Book CH

Three years ago, Sophie Mercer discovered that she was a witch. It's gotten her into a few s
crapes. Her non-gifted mother has been as supportive as possible, consulting Sophie's estranged father--an elusive European warlock--only when necessary. But when Sophie attracts too much human attention for a prom-night spell gone horribly wrong, it's her dad who decides her punishment: exile to Hex Hall, an isolated reform school for wayward Prodigium, a.k.a. witches, faeries, and shapeshifters.

By the end of her first day among fellow freak-teens, Sophie has quite a scorecard: three powerful enemies who look like supermodels, a futile crush on a gorgeous warlock, a creepy tagalong ghost, and a new roommate who happens to be the most hated person and only vampire student on campus. Worse, Sophie soon learns
that a mysterious predator has been attacking students, and her only friend is the number-one suspect.

As a series of blood-curdling mysteries starts to converge, Sophie prepares for the biggest threat of all: an ancient secret society determined to destroy all Prodigium, especially her.

My Review: Hex Hall grabbed me from the first page and after that I was hooked. The characters in this book where just amazing and Jenna made a laugh through the whole book and Archer was a total jerk and then he grew on me then I hated him again. Overall this book just filled me with happiness.

Evolution, Me & Other Freaks of Nature By Robin Brande

Title: Evolution, Me & Other Freaks of Nature
Author: Robin Brande
Series: Lone book
Release Date: August 28th 2007
Published By: Knopf books for Young Readers

Your best friend hates you. The guy you liked hates you. Your entire group of friends hates you.

All because you did the right thing.

Welcome to life for Mena, whose year is starting off in the worst way possible. She's been kicked out of her church group and no one will talk to her—not even her own parents. No one except for Casey, her supersmart lab partner in science class, who's pretty funny for the most brilliant guy on earth.

And when Ms. Shepherd begins the unit on evolution, school becomes more dramatic than Mena could ever imagine . . . and her own life is about to evolve in some amazing and unexpected ways.

My Review: This book got me from the first page. I did have a problem with it though because the whole story about this book is about what she did to make (almost) everyone hate her and it didn't tell me what happened until around 150 pages in. I fell in love with Casey he was just one of the most sweet and geeky guys and I loved him. I also loved Casey's sister Kayla, her boyfriend Josh, Casey's mom, there biology teacher Ms. Shepard, and of course I loved the main character Mena.

My Review: This was a book about romance, water, and most of all it was a book about a siren. This is the best book I have ever read, and I plan to read it many more times. I don't read very fast but this book was a quick read that I couldn't put down. I also have to say that this book has the best characters ever! I am officially in love with Cole.
